In short. Chapter & Scene does not collect, receive, share or sell any personal information.
What you write stays with you. The reviews you write are stored on your device. If you are signed in to iCloud, a copy is also kept in your own iCloud account, using Apple’s iCloud key-value storage, so that your other iPhones and iPads can show the same reviews. Apple runs iCloud, and its privacy policy applies to it. We have no access to your iCloud account or to anything in it.
What the app does not do.
- It has no accounts and no sign-in.
- It has no analytics, no crash-reporting tools and no advertising.
- It does not track you, and it contains no third-party code that collects data.
- It does not send anything to us. We do not run a server for the app.
Sharing and exporting. When you choose to share, print or copy a review, the content goes only where you send it, such as Files, Mail, AirDrop, another app or a printer. We never see it.
Children. Chapter & Scene collects no information from anyone, including children.
Your choices. You can edit or delete any review in the app. Deleting a review also deletes it from your other devices that use the same iCloud account. You can manage what apps store in iCloud in the Settings app on your device, under your name and then iCloud. Deleting the app removes the reviews stored on that device.
Changes. If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date.
